Review of Toluna India, a paid survey panel

Toluna India Review - Toluna is more like a social networking site and also an online legitimate survey panel. For those seriously interested in earning through paid surveys, then you must go through this article before registering to toluna India.

This is my personal opinion about toluna india and not everyone may have the same thoughts about toluna India. Online paid survey panels have recently become populous for those looking for online part time jobs like data entry, form filling and other stuff, which all are spam and fake(Personal Experience). However when I came across online paid surveys, I thought this is just another new trick to fool innocent people. So unlike before, I thought of making a thorough research over google about what public have to say about it on consumer forums like mouthshut.com. I came across many fake survey panels which asked to pay in advance but I knew any site that asks for money is clearly a spam site. However, after thorough research I prepared a list of legitimate online survey panels in which I have enrolled and completed surveys and have been paid most importantly.

Note: I post about only those panels in which I have been paid, for you to be assured that its indeed genuine.
My last three posts about Global Test Market, The Panel Station and Valued opinions can be viewed on clicking on its name or on the right side of the page under my posts.

Now the fourth one from which I recently got paid is Toluna India, will be discussed in detail below.
As I said, its more like a social networking site and lesser a survey panel. You can create polls, vote for polls, post any question and ask for opinions from its members and for that you will be paid few points. However I won't be going in detail about polls and opinions here.

As fas as surveys from Toluna are concerned, they are genuine and legitimate and free of spam. Let me take you through the pros's and con's of toluna with regards to surveys and its rewards system.

How many survey invitations will I receive per week and how much points each survey offer?
The number of survey invitation depends upon your profile and interests. Usually they provide 2-3 surveys per week. The surveys will be sent as an email invitation to your registered email address in tolune and points will be in the range of 3000-6000 points most of the times.

When will I get paid and what form of payment?
It varies on different countries(Check out for your country) but for India the form of payment is very limited. Toluna keeps prize draws in which any number of tickets can be invested from our account. Each ticket is from 500 to 1000 points. This is where toluna needs to improve as the members are spending quality time for every survey and in reward giving an option of prize draw tickets is very unfair. They also keep prize draw tickets for Samsung galaxy s3 and  Samsung galaxy note(Gadgets change after every few months) where each ticket costs 1000 points and whats even worse is the prize draw includes all members from around the world and the number of Samsung galaxy S3 phones given are only four!! It's ridiculous. I invested 11000 points(11 tickets) after completing quiet a few surveys but in vain as expected.

The only fair option of reward system is Indiatimes shopping voucher or 200INR, which will be given upon completion of 20000 points. 20000 points = 200 INR, which means a normal survey of about 4000 equals to just 40 rupees! Compared to other survey panels I have posted in this blog, have much better payment for the time spent in taking a survey. It will be approximately 100rs for a 45 minute survey but in toluna a 40 rs survey takes almost an hour to complete to be very honest.

Conclusion
So coming to conclusion, I do not recommend Toluna to anyone as they do not have fair reward system, too less payment for every completed survey. I would rather enjoy in facebook rather than wasting one hour for a mere 40 bucks:-D
However at times I receive surveys of upto 15000 points which equals 150rs but it is very rare. I completed this 15000 survey and after reaching 20000 points, redeemed for indiatimes shopping voucher which I received in a couple of weeks and bought an iphone charger which is good. Now I prefer taking only those surveys which has more than 10000 points, which is very rare, and ignore all other invitations that I receive of around 3000-6000 points. Now its upto you to decide to register or not depending upon your country and rewards system available. Cheers! Looking forward to comments.
